In this DVD presentation David C. Pruden, MS, addresses the challenging subject of same-sex attraction and how it presents a particular challenge for adolescents and young adults. A respected speaker and author in the area of adolescent development, David draws upon his many years of experience assisting young adults and their families who are facing concerns or questions about unwanted homosexual feelings.

A portion of this production contains a workshop he presented to mental health professionals at the annual conference of the National Association for Research and Therapy of Homosexuality. This workshop examines the obstacles created by an over sexualized society in which young people have to negotiate early attractions and emotions, and how that can often lead to confusion about gender roles or sexual identity. In addition, Mr. Pruden offers concrete suggestions for parents, friends, and church leaders on ways to assist the questioning young adults they love.
